Many people already know that eating locally grown foods is a better choice for the environment, but it can also enhance immunity, increase energy and longevity. Drawing from time-honored healing traditions such as Chinese medicine and Ayurveda, this class explores topics such as which foods are best for us in our region and why, and how to use foods for specific seasons to prevent seasonal conditions like colds in the winter.
